Terms & Conditions
DEFINITIONS
‘Company’ refers to Shaken or its subcontractors or agents. ‘Client’ is the person hiring services from the Company. ‘Period of Hire’ spans from the installation by the Company to its collection. ‘Deposit’ is the amount payable to Shaken to guarantee the booking.
CONDITIONS
All bookings are accepted subject to these terms unless stated otherwise in writing.
HIRE CHARGES
• Quotes are for hire only and valid for 14 days.
• A 50% deposit is required upon booking to confirm it.
• Full payment is due 48 hours before the hire period begins.
• Bookings made within 14 days of the hire period require full payment.
PAYMENT
Payments should follow the terms in the Company’s quotation and can be made via bank transfer.
LIABILITY & INDEMNITY
• The Client is responsible for the Company’s equipment during the hire period. Any damage or loss will be charged to the Client.
• Shaken is not liable for any damages, losses or injuries incurred during the event.
• The client agrees to indemnify and hold Shaken harmless against any claims, damages or liabilities arising from the event.
CANCELLATION
• 50% of the deposit is refundable if cancellation occurs at least 14 days before the event.
• No refunds for cancellations within 14 days of the event.
• Rescheduling is possible with at least 7 days’ notice.
• Any changes to the booking, including date, time or services must be written and confirmed by Shaken.
PACKAGES
The Company is not responsible for packages chosen by the Client. Specific requests may incur additional charges.
GIFT VOUCHERS
• Valid for 1-2 years from the purchase date.
• Non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Rescheduling is allowed with 30 days’ notice.
GENERAL
These terms may be amended without notice, and all bookings are subject to current terms and conditions. By proceeding with a booking with Shaken you acknowledge that you have read and understood and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
